Pick Up your Purse for Team Vesper – Julie inspires fundraising drive

For those of you based in Leeds, you’ll be aware of the fantastic fundraising drive inspired by Julie Holliday. For those of you based in Leeds, you’ll be aware of the fantastic fundraising drive inspired by Julie Holliday. Things are now moving up a level, as her colleagues prepare to run the Leeds Half Marathon in aid of Breast Cancer Care. Julie was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and having undergone two operations, she’s now receiving chemotherapy and is due to start radiotherapy in June. Her situation has already inspired colleagues, friends and family to raise funds in aid of The Haven Charity, which Julie visits for support, and now, with your help, they hope to raise even more by running the Leeds Half Marathon in aid of Breast Cancer Care. Julie, a key member of the Customer Service Team, has been with the company for 40 years and everyone is missing her terribly, and looking forward to welcoming her back to work after her treatment. Fundraising so far has included a Bake Off, a Football Ticket auction and a raffle and now the 13 Members of Team Vesper are pounding the streets in preparation for the Leeds Half Marathon – and are hoping that people will continue their generous support for Breast Cancer Care.
