The synergy between the two brands, both renowned for quality and innovation, gives each party exposure in relevant fields and the opportunity to establish new business relationships. The Quality Food Awards are considered the ultimate endorsement of food and drink producers on offer to consumer. Constantly evolving to reflect market trends, the Q Awards recognize excellence through the Quality Food Awards, Quality Drink Awards (beer, wine, cider, whiskies and spirits), the Good Choice! Quality Food Awards (healthier options and free-from products) and the Café Quality Food Awards (products available to food service). Graphic Packaging International has recently launched a new range of packaging solutions specifically for the patisserie and café market, along with striking print techniques developed for the Whiskey and Spirit markets. Nikki Clark, GPI’s Marketing Manager for Consumer and Convenience Products explains, “Being one of the most innovative players in food and drink packaging, we relish the opportunity to be involved with both established and up-and-coming food and drink brands. Our association with the Q Awards positions GPI directly in front of our target market, who are all keen to discover ways to create standout packaging to take their products to the next level. “In previous years, we have gone on to work with companies who have been shortlisted by the Q Awards – for example a winner from last year’s Awards, Couture Treats, was part of our European themed stand at Packaging Innovations. We worked together to develop gift cartons which presented their Gold winning macarons in an attractive, yet functional way and introduced the startup business to a new audience of potential customers at the show.
