Stainless Steel Conveyors

Central Conveyors can - of course - manufacture conveyor systems whereby the belt (and any other part in contact with the product) is stainless steel. However, we can also fabricate complete stainless systems.

These are beloved of the food, pharmaceutical and science research sectors, due to the ease with which they can be cleaned.

A completely stainless conveyor can be jet-washed down, under pressure and high temperature, to ensure that it is not contaminated by the product. A mild steel conveyor would rapidly rust if treated in this way.

Stainless conveyors can also be used where strong magnetic fields might be present, as they are not effected by these. Nor do they distort or influence a magnetic field.
