Orchard Environmental have recently completed the installation of an an Odour Control System on a poultry processing plant in North East England. The system extracts foul air from a number of processing rooms within the plant and treats it in a Orchard Environmental Gas Scrubber to remove the odours before discharging to atmosphere. The system also included a connection to extract displaced air from road tankers which remove foul waste products from the site on a periodic basis. This connection is treated with a dedicated cyclone scrubber before being drawn into the main system. The system supply included the main scrubber, the cyclone scrubber, the dosing systems and instrumentation, the exhaust fan, exhaust stack and fabricated steel access structure. The system is fully automated and installation included all electrical wiring and the control system.
