Youngsters Benefit from Hall-Fast’s Community Partnership with Nottingham Rugby!

Nottingham Rugby are again delivering a programme of support within North Nottinghamshire on behalf of Hall-Fast which has seen players and coaches from the Championship club going into primary and secondary schools within the Mansfield and Ashfield area. Hall-Fast has provided the funding for this programme which it hopes will encourage youngsters to enjoy sport, help tackle a growing childhood obesity problem and more importantly show teenagers how to broaden their horizons, raise their aspirations and learn new skills. Coaching sessions have also been delivered to children at the Fountaindale SEN School in Mansfield with a focus on movement and fun activities using rugby where appropriate, sessions are being delivered over a twelve week period over two terms. Commenting after watching the latest session at the Fountaindale School, Malk Hall – Hall-Fast’s MD said, “it is great to see the kids’ really enjoying the sessions, the lads from Nottingham Rugby really enjoy working with them!” The first of two planned North Nott’s Community Days, in partnership with Hall-Fast is taking place on Sunday 17th November, with schools and clubs from the Mansfield and Ashfield area being invited to enjoy a day at the home of Nottingham Rugby, Meadow Lane, when the mighty Green and Whites take on Plymouth.
