BDC Ltd has developed a robust range of 10 tonne De-coilers, Coil Cars and Shears, the main benefits are the expansion range which is from 460mm to 630mm, alleviating the need for awkward to handle spacer segments. De-coiling can be linked to line speed using ultrasonic sensors or a mechanical dancer arm arrangement. The low level shear is completely enclosed and a cut cycle is achieved in under a second.
