 In- Tank Emergency Shut-off Valves' main application is to guarantee the safety of storage tanks containing dangerous fluids and gases including LNG, Chlorine, Propylene,VCM, VC, Propane, or Ammonia. In- Tank Emergency Shut-off Valves are held open by an air actuator which is placed on or below the tank. In case of an emergency, the air supply is interupted. A weight or a spring slams the inlying valve shut, thus securing the tank and its contents.
