Since winning a substantial contract to update the functionality of a SCADA system for a distillery, ISS software engineers have been busy building a virtual plant to replicate the one on site. Last week saw this system up and running, so now once we have completed the software we will be able to rigorously test the modifications made without causing disruption to our customer. On completion later in the year this will aid a smooth transition with minimal disruption to production.
