Fischbein developed this versatile sealing system to meet the growing market need for product manufacturers to run different bag substrates on a single automated production line. This new sealer eliminates the need to use a different sealer on the same production line. This “3 in 1 bag closer” has been designed to close three different bag types; pinch style paper, polyethylene and the new pinch style, pre-glued laminated woven polypropylene bags. By combining dynamic hot air and band sealer technologies, the APS 3000™ is capable of sealing the traditional pinch style paper bags and both gusseted and pillow style polyethylene bags. In addition, the APS 3000™ can seal the new generation of pre-glued laminated woven polypropylene bags including the new Pinch Pro® line of bags manufactured by Graphics Packaging International. Capable of stand alone or fully-integrated operation, the APS-3000™ offers a continuous sealing process, variable-speed drive and a safe, user-friendly control panel. It features both bag jam and over temperature sensors. Height adjustment is motorized, the bag top trimmer is height-adjustable and there is a breakaway feature for easy maintenance.
