Wearing It Pink Day Fundraiser Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

17-11-2023

Our annual 'Wear It Pink' day dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness has successfully raised £150 for charity! A big congratulations to our entire team, who sported a variety of (sometimes debatable) pink outfits to show solidarity for this important cause. It's crucial to be aware of common signs and symptoms associated with breast cancer, including: Lump or Swelling: Feel for a lump or swelling in the breast, upper chest, or armpit. It might be felt but not necessarily visible. Changes in Size or Shape: Be vigilant about changes in the size or shape of the breast. Skin Texture Changes: Note any changes in skin texture, such as puckering or dimpling. Alterations in Breast Colour: Watch for changes in the colour of the breast, which may appear red or inflamed. Nipple Changes: Be alert to rash, crusting, or alterations to the nipple. Unusual Discharge: Report any unusual discharge from either nipple. Shockingly, over a third (39%) of women in the UK do not perform regular breast checks to identify potential signs of breast cancer.
