Charity Expresses Gratitude to BGB Team for Completing the Viking Challenge

17-11-2023

Following our recent update on three BGB staff members successfully completing the Viking Challenge in October, we are thrilled to share the heartfelt appreciation from the charity they supported: The BHive.Community A big thank you to Liam Beard, Tony Frisby, and Ash Parker from BGB Grantham for their generous donation of £200 to The BHive. All three participated in the Viking Challenge on 1st October, a friendly and enjoyable off-road event that not only promotes camaraderie but also raises significant funds for charity. We invite you to explore and join us for the Viking Challenge 2023 on Sunday, 1st October. As one of the UK's premier amateur off-road cycling events, participants get to experience the picturesque Vale of Belvoir countryside, accessing routes not typically open to the public. The event welcomes cyclists of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels—whether part of a team or riding solo, for fun or competition, including those embracing the Viking spirit! The unique blend of a challenging physical course and our warm hospitality has proven to be a winning combination, attracting participants and volunteers year after year. And let's not forget the abundance of cake and refreshments provided along the route and at the finish—our way of ensuring our riders stay well energized. We appreciate the support of a local company like BGB, contributing to the well-being of our local community group, an integral part of the registered charity South Lincolnshire Blind Society.
