BGB Employees Showcase Exceptional Fitness in The Viking Challenge

This past weekend witnessed the commendable participation of three of our exceptionally fit employees in The Viking Challenge, a demanding charitable bike event. Ash Parker, a BGB Design Engineer, shared insights into the challenging experience, stating, "...From an early morning start, Tony, Liam, and I embarked on a strenuous 65km mountain bike journey through the Vale of Belvoir. Navigating bridal ways and fields, tackling muddy hills, knee-deep puddles, and energy-sapping mud, we remained steadfast in our mission to succeed. The grueling 5-hour journey, marked by energy stations along the way, included a crucial stop at Branston for a Pork Pie. Despite rain in the latter part, which added to the slippery terrain, we cycled back from Belvoir Castle towards the Redmile School and the finish line. Our efforts were dedicated to raising funds for BHIVE, a charity closely associated with BGB..."
