The Background of AKO AKO is a family run company with the head office based in Germany, and subsidiaries based in the UK and France, with distributors of AKO products in countries all over the world. AKO is proud to have been in business for over 30 years now, manufacturing and supplying their Pinch Valve brand and other products into industrial sectors worldwide. The German head office AKO Armaturen was founded by Antoine Kopp in 1984, with the development and sales of AKO Pinch Valves starting just a year later in 1985. AKO Innovations S.A.S in France was the first independent subsidiary to be established, following with AKO UK Ltd in Great Britain which was formed in 1998 to provide effective and productive distribution of AKO products in the UK.
