In reduce bore Ball Valve the valves are actually a size smaller than then the valves pipe size and this results in a smaller area than the pipe. While the shaped port Ball Valves allow the orifice to be open and close with more control and flow characteristics. A Trunnion has additional mechanisms that helps anchor the ball, its bottom and top. They are suitable for large and higher pressure valves. The manually operated Ball Valves can be closed quickly and thus there is danger of water hammer while the male Ball Valves are equipped with actuators that are pneumatically controlled. These valves can be used to control the flow. Some Ball Valves are also equipped with a position which has to transform the control signal into an actuator position. There are many standard companies that make quality Ball Valves and the three way Ball Valves usually have L or T shaped hole through its middle. And the best thing is that this type of Ball Valves can easily connect to any part of prost but the 45 degree position which ends up disconnecting all the three and leave no margin for any error. While the L -shaped port can easily connected to the centre of the port and also to its sides. The multi port Ball Valves are also commercially available and its inlet ways are usually orthogonal to the place of the outlets. And if you want to drive air powered motors you can use the special applications of the four way Ball Valves. The Ball Valves sizes are usually available in single pieces, to two or three piece designs while the one piece bore valve sizes are quite reduced and are really inexpensive. The Three piece design of the Ball Valves makes it easy to clean even the deposited sediments, polishing the scratches on the Ball Valves. The best thing is that you can do all this even without removing the pipes from the body.
