mk Profile Systems Enhances its Conveyor Technology Capability

mk Profiles have further developed their extensive range of conveyor technology and can now provide bespoke conveyor solutions that incorporate both curved conveyors and magnetic conveyors. The mk Magnet-S conveyor is based on the GUF-P 2000 with central BC Drive and curved profiles, using a radius of 1,200mm. Permanent magnets are integrated into the body of the belt and guarantee the correct orientation of the suspended park even through curved segments. The application shown here is a linking system for brake shoes requiring continuous transportation of ferromagnetic work pieces from a transfer height of 1,000mm to a transport elevation of approximately 2,500mm. During transport the products must not change their position so mk’s Magnet-S conveyor is adjusted to meet the complex routing and installation requirements. This is a fully bespoke solution offered by mk, so can be customised to each individual customers required solution regardless of the complexity of the conveyor routing. This in turn provides the customer with safe transfer of their goods quickly and efficiently.
