mk Belt Conveyors controllable by UR Cobots

The mk Technology Group is now part of the Universal Robots partner network, offering conveyor technology that can be easily and quickly integrated into your cobot applications via the URCap plug-in.

mk now provides Universal Robots users with bespoke belt conveyors designed for seamless integration with cobots. The user-friendly URCap plug-in simplifies the set-up and programming of the conveyor system.

The UR+ approved GUF-P 2000 belt conveyor is available in various configurations to suit any application. Conveyor widths range from 50 to 800 mm, with lengths up to 10,000 mm. These conveyors can handle maximum loads of 75 kg and reach speeds of up to 80 m/min. Belt conveyors are ideal for transporting goods without specific requirements for position or support geometry, making them particularly suitable for vision-supported processes. The modular aluminium profile design features T-slots on both sides of the conveyor frame, enabling easy system integration and the attachment of side rails, sensors, and other accessories.

The mk-Conveyors-URCap plug-and-play solution ensures efficient communication between conveyors and cobots. It is compatible with all models in the Universal Robots e-series. The installation is straightforward, and the intuitive user interface allows you to control up to two belt conveyors. Commands for start/stop, direction, and speed are managed through the plug-in, and goods can be conveyed based on sensor signals or for a set time. This flexible layout requires no programming expertise.
