BYO – Biodegradable Polyolefin Shrink Film

Biodegradable BYO is the world’s first, fully biodegradable polyolefin shrink film. Totally degradable in just 3 years, (compared to 300 years with traditional films) BYO biodegradable plastic is not only good for the environment but offers outstanding results. As you would expect from Bollore, BYO is a fully biodegradable, polyolefin shrink film that offers all the benefits of a high performance shrink wrap. At the end of its useful life, BYO, biodegradable polyolefin shrink plastic disintegrates through the process of oxidation. The resulting components are then bio-assimilated further by soil micro-organisms. In approximately 3 years, the biodegradable plastic is broken down into water, carbon dioxide and biomass.
