Clear polythene rollsOur clear polythene sheeting on the roll is made from the highest quality virgin polymers, and is the best available in terms of strength, clarity and smoothness.It is manufactured from low density polyethylene (LDPE) in two thicknesses:120 micron (480 gauge)200 micron (800 gauge)The polythene is supplied centre-folded on the roll for ease of handling and storage, so that the roll width is half the width of the fully opened-out sheet. The dimensions in the above table refer to the full unfolded width.This film is suitable for heat-shrinking (see our heat shrink gun), used in many industries for securing large and/or heavy pallets, machinery, building products, steel items, etc. As it is waterproof, it is also used for wrapping export crates for protection against the elements.Our polythene is also crease-free, which is often required for packing of artworks and other items where good presentation is important.Commercially recyclable. Not usually suitable for kerbside recycling, check local guidance or with your waste disposal provider.
