Polyurethane Foam

The most recognizeable foam is polyurethane, it is the spongier type of foam we have available. This type of foam is used for its extremely high cushioning factor and is very often used in pizza style cartons in both plain or profiled forms. These cartons, combined with either plain or anti-static polyurethane foam are typically used for PCBs and other types of small electrical & ESD items. Profiled foam (egg box style) can be provided in all grades and with varying profiles, which are made of the base, and the rise and fall which makes up the peaks and troughs. These dimensions can be varied to suit the pack, protection required or budget available.
