F.E.A. - Finite Element Analysis

Peace of mind before manufacture starts. Mathematically a structure can be analyzed and sub-divided into a mesh of finite sized elements of simple shape. Once the nodal displacements are known, element stresses and strains can be calculated. After applying the appropriate boundary conditions, the nodal displacements are found by solving the matrix stiffness equation.
