Trafag receives AVL Supplier Award

AVL List recognizes the excellent relationship with its supplier Trafag with the “Supply Excellence Award 2015”. AVL List, an Austrian based company with 1.5 billion Euro turnover, was founded in 1948 and is one of the world’s largest companies for the development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains for passenger cars, trucks and large engines. AVL has been using Trafag pressure transmitters for testbeds instrumentation for over 25 years. Trafag, a Swiss based company founded in 1942, is a leading international supplier of high quality sensors and monitoring instruments for measuring pressure, temperature and SF6 gas density with a wide range of standardized, configurable products as well as tailored-made solutions for OEM-customers. During the ceremony at AVL’s annual Supplier Day on October 19, 2016, Trafag was praised for exceeding “the high expectations of quality, price and flexibility”. Michael Hartmann, Procurement Officer of AVL, said during the laudatio: “The accuracy of the used transmitters reaches outstanding values. Over the entire period of the collaboration the awarded supplier strived for excellent service in the support of AVL requirements, the further development of the provided parts, the high quality and the on-time delivery.” Robert Pfrunder, CEO and owner of Trafag, received the award from Prof. Dr. H. List, CEO and 2nd generation member of the founder family. In his acceptance speech he emphasized the significance of this award as a recognition for the constant strive to offer AVL pressure transmitters best fitted for their needs, both technically, logistically and commercially, in a fruitful mutual cooperation of more than 25 years. The award illustrates the appreciation of global leaders for Trafag’s value as a reliable and innovative partner who is able to even exceed highest requirements with flawless quality, excellent service and leading edge technology.
