Domestic Pumps - Centrifugal Two Contra Impellers - SAER FC

This series of electric twin impeller close coupled centrifugal pumps is fitted with two opposing impellers housed in the pump body and located on the rotor shaft by means of keyways. The opposing impeller's functioning in series on the same motor shaft ensures that a perfect balance is achieved, thus avoiding overloading the motor bearings brought about by any hydraulic thrust loads. The liquid pumped is conveyed into the spiral shaped volute of the pump body, transforming the kinetic energy into dynamic pressure energy, with a further increase in kinetic energy as the liquid passes between the two impellers. Pressure and flow is achieved with minimum loss by means of the hydrodynamic closed impeller design.
