The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 & The Workplace (Health & Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 require that workplace equipment and systems are maintained.

The Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 1994 require that Landlords supplying electrical equipment as part of the lease must ensure it is safe before a lease commences.
