Pakawaste proud supplier of waste handling equipment to Olympic venues - London 2012 Games

Pakawaste limited, the UK's market leader in the manufacture and supply of waste handling equipment, was the proud supplier of waste handling equipment to Olympic venues for the London 2012 Games. The Pakawaste waste management solution encompassed a number of Olympic venues each with specific requirements. In total Pakawaste supplied 16 x Portakrush 2000 (portable waste compactors with integrated hydraulic bin loaders), 15 x Powerkrush 85 (static waste compactors with integrated hydraulic bin loaders) and 1 x stand alone bin tippler. The multi-site project also required maintenance and service cover to ensure smooth operation throughout the games. As a sub-contractor to SITA, Pakawaste ensured that services provided were in keeping with the British Olympic Association (BOA) fundamental environmental principals and professional approach to waste management and recycling issues. Pakawaste's unrivalled expertise and reputation for reliability within the waste management industry was a major factor in landing the contract.
