Pakawaste join ‘The Great Comic Relief Bake Off’

The Pakawaste team have joined in the Comic Relief fun this week with a ‘Comic Relief Bake Sale’. Participants baked a mixture of sweet and savoury goods for their co-workers to purchase and enjoy. The event was well supported by everyone at Pakawaste and raised over one hundred pounds for the popular charity. Inspired by the popularity of The Great British Bake Off, Comic Relief are taking over the Great British Bake Off tent in order to raise funds for the charity and encourage people across the UK to use the Bake Off vehicle to raise money themselves. The televised event sees different celebrities battle it out with their baking skills to claim one of the coveted Comic Relief Star Baker titles. Chantal Calderbank, Sales Office Manager at Pakawaste commented, “I’d just like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part. The bake off was great fun which everyone thoroughly enjoyed and we are pleased to have done our little bit to help, Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood watch out, we have some amazing bakers at Pakawaste”.
