The CAT40-G-TA is an industrial quality powered unwind unit used to hold a large roll of labels that is being fed into (usually) a label printer. This unit is necessary to ensure that labels are fed evenly and consistantly into the label printer without causing any stress to the printers label drive mechanism.
The unit is bi-directional and has a switched torque range and a variable torque/speed control. The unit is automatically turned on and off by the tension arm.
Labels up to 170mm wide on rolls with a maximum diameter of 400mm can be unwound at a maximum speed of 14" per second / 360mm per second.
A 76mm Quickchuck is fitted to this unit as standard. This enables the quick loading and unloading of labels onto the unwind.
