The Citizen CLP521 is a rugged desktop label printer.  Unlike most other desktop label printers the mains power cable plugs directly into the unit thus eliminating the possibility of damage to an external power supply.

The printer is widely used for printing shipping labels and is the preferred printer of many global carriers (UPS, DHL, Parcelforce, DPD etc).

You also see this model in smaller businesses for printing ingredients labels and other addresslabels or stock/inventory labels.

You can download a copy of 'Bartender Ultralight' which is a free to use label design software that will enable you to very easily design labels with text, barcodes, lines etc.
