Dissolved Oxygen Measurement

Many dissolved organic carbon compounds often found in potable water absorb ultraviolet radiation. These include Humic and Fulvic Acids that make water a characteristic yellow color. Dissolved organics can result in the formation of Trihalomethanes as a by-product of chlorination.
