The Chanel flagship store in Amsterdam has become an architectural highlight by replacing old brickwork with glass bricks! DELO PHOTOBOND adhesive was used to bond more than 7,000 handmade glass elements of the fa�ade. It's not just the bricks that are made of glass, but the door and window frames are also completely made from glass! Because of the high quality properties of these adhesives, the bonding stays permanently transparent. These adhesives are characterised by their very high elasticity and tension-equalising properties, especially important in a structure that is continually exposed to atmospheric influences such as rain, frost and sunshine.
