Hot Runners

A hot runner system is an assembly of heated components which are used in plastic injection moulds. A hot runner system can include a heated manifold and numerous heated nozzles. The main task of the manifold is to distribute the plastic entering the mould to the numerous different nozzles which then meter it precisely into the injection points in the cavities.
