Eriez® has announced the launch of its new SEV series of Suspended Electromagnets, marking a significant leap forward in electromagnet design. These units feature more powerful magnets within smaller enclosures, resulting in reduced weight and installation costs while maximising performance efficiency.

Part of the Eriez SE7000 line, the new SEV models utilise advanced wire and conductor technology to energise the magnet circuit, requiring less coolant for operation. The innovative wire configuration, which includes an ultra-thin anodised insulation layer, offers superior thermal conductivity, ensuring efficient heat dissipation within the circuit for enhanced magnet performance. Despite their compact size, these magnets outperform larger models, delivering consistent and reliable operation.

Eriez also offers self-cleaning versions of all SEV models, along with a range of optional features including dust hoods, coils derated for elevation, high fire point coolants, armour-clad belts, and various other customisable options to suit specific applications.
