Strip heaters are heating elements used in a wide variety of applications. We have a huge selection of incoloy, finned, mica and ceramic strip heaters. Typically, strip heaters feature rugged construction and have a wide variety of applications. Strip heaters are a simple way of using surface area to transfer heat effectively. Our range of strip heaters are brand new and suitable for multiple applications. Our incoloy, finned, mica and ceramic strip heaters are used for heat transfer by conduction or convection to heat liquids, gases and metal / steel surfaces. Our strip heaters are typically used for presses, extrusion die heads, food tables, hot plates, and special purpose machinery. A strip heater is made up of an electrical heating wire which is embedded in insulation, the insulation ensures the heating element and sheath do not connect but is close enough to the sheath to allow the heat to flow. Our ceramic strip heaters are capable of heating to temperatures of up to 450Oc. If you are in need of a strip heater that is capable of heating to higher temperatures we have other options. Our ceramic strip heaters are made up from a stainless steel sheath containing a high-temperature ceramic insulation and a nickel chrome wire coil. Magnesium oxide is used to fill any air pockets to ensure the best heat transfer possible. The terminals are constructed of stainless steel and the ceramic strips are available with or without location slots. As well as ceramic heaters we also offer other strip heaters, such as mica strip heaters and finned ceramic strip heaters. Most strip heaters are available in 7-10 working days. However, Elmatic do offer additional emergency services for customers who are in a breakdown situation. For all enquiries please contact a member of our sales team who will be happy to assist. Needless to say, that Elmatic LTD are the largest manufacturers for quality industrial heating elements.
