 A Networked Card Reader is a programmable smart card terminal, that collects data and sends it via TCP/IP over a LAN to a central polling server. Compatible with magstripe cards and additional sensors. This use of this product was featured in the Guardian and was well received for encouraging students to earn bonus points for increased participation.
