This Titan Bag style of bag, has a back overlap seal and a crimp seal across the bottom which is then folded over and a length of tape is applied for added strength. The tape application then creates a block bottom base in order to “stand up” better than a normal Crimp bag. These bags are manufactured thanks to using a Holweg machine. Direct Packaging have recently gained a TITAN bag making machine and are able to manufacture TITAN bags from Polypropylene or Cellophane materials which are able to be printed or plain. The machine is known as a Holweg which has a titan attachment which tapes the crimp of the bag for added strength
