The IDEAL 2260 is a simple to use shredder designed for true business use. It includes photo cell system for instant start up and stop with a multifunction setting to include a standby mode. The cutting shafts come with a five year guarantee and slice document into 4mm strips. A cross cut version is available to take the IDEAL 2260 from level P2 of the security standard to level P4, producing 3 x 25mm particles. The shredded material is collected in easy to handle bin, the fill level being visible through the front of the shredder.

The IDEAL 2260 is a simple to use shredder suited to instant shredding of documents and is robust enough to cope with paper clips. In the standard form it meets security level P2 standards, in a cross cut version it reaches level P4. It is simple and safe to use with automatic start up from the stand by position thanks to photocell detection of paper. This also stops the motor automatically. Should there be a jam, the shredder stops automatically. The fill level of the collection bin is visible through the front of the shredder. A cut off switch is activated when the bin is full.
A multifunction switch controls the IDEAL 2260 shredder, making operation simple and safe. A photocell will only activate the motor when a document needs shredding, while the transparent safety flap is a further feature to ensure safe operation as it prevents accidental ingress to the cutting shafts. The shredded material is collected in a 20 litre capacity bin which is clearly visible through the front of the machine. A cut off switch will stop the machine when the bin is full or when it is removed from the shredder. The cutting shafts have a five-year guarantee and are able to cope with paper clips. There is a dual motor to prevent overheating and the gear box is sealed to prevent contamination by paper dust.
