Rubber to Metal Bonding

From one-offs to mass production we use laboratory tested bond agents and ultrasonic cleaning technology to give your product the best bond possible. Butser Rubber offer hot and cold bonding services. All hot bonding takes place during the rubber moulding process at around 160 degrees C and between 50 and 150 tonnes of pressure. There are many advantages of bonding during the moulding process plus it gives a very high quality finish as no 'glue' is involved. Whether it is a complex non-conductive HNBR to copper bonding or a simple steel to natural rubber bonding, Butser Rubber has the experience, scope and bonding technology to make it work. Examples: Anti vibration mounts, engine mounts, rubberised circuit boards, suspension bushes, bonded tyres to wheels, bonded rollers.
