Domestic Sewage Treatment Plants
01-12-2019
Here at ASAP Septic Tanks, we offer a range of domestic sewage treatment plants, in addition to commercial sewage treatment plants. Today we’re going to focus on these domestic products for those looking to bring in their own sewage treatment systems into their home.
Commercial Verses Domestic
The main difference between commercial and domestic sewage treatment plants is that those used in residential areas are a lot smaller. Commercial plants will typically cater for between 30 and 300 people, whilst domestic plants will be suitable for a household up to a maximum of 25 people.
The Basics
Clearwater sewage treatment plant systems for domestic use can offer a flexible and affordable solution to dealing with waste water. Made in the UK, they are great for those who want to be more environmentally friendly, they use biotec aerobic biological processes in order to treat the sewage. Rest assured that these systems will be undetectable once installed, so you won’t be able to see it or smell it when functioning well.
The Options
The Clearwater E range are available for a minimum of 6 people, for a four-bedroom house. The other options include those for 12 people, 18 people and 25 people. With each of these products, there is the option to fit a IPS – an Integral Pump System – allowing a pumped outlet with a range of 10 metres lift and 50 metres run, depending on your own requirements and the setting. Additionally, the Delta 1, 2, 3, and 4 range Clearwater sewage treatment plant systems have three inlet and outlet levels starting at 500mm invert. Depending on which option you select, you could be paying as little as £1,685 for the smallest sewage treatment plant to £5,862 for the largest domestic sewage treatment system.
Low Profile
The low-profile shallow digs are made from GRP (Glass-Reinforced Plastic), and have filtered media beds with a built-in air compressor (or bubbler), and a large primary settlement compartment for the treatment of the sewage. This means that you can keep costs down as there are low dig costs, and you can also benefit from an avoidance of water table.
Your Order
When you place an order for a domestic sewage treatment plant, they are able to be delivered to mainland UK completely free of charge, and are otherwise are charged depending on the post code, available on particular products on request. Furthermore, drawings are emailed with an installation guide in order to help you plan your project.
